What it means to be part of the GWIB Committee
We are a group of dedicated individuals who work together to plan events, organise volunteer opportunities, and advocate for important causes. As a member of our committee, you will have the opportunity to develop leadership skills, meet new people, and make a positive impact in our community.
We welcome individuals from diverse backgrounds and experiences, and we strive to create an inclusive and supportive environment for all members.

What makes a great GWIB Committee Member
A person who can develop good relationships internally and externally.
Able to work collaboratively with other Committee Members.
Attend at least 75 percent of all ordinary meetings.
Be a good listener and attuned to the interests of members and other interest groups.
Can raise ideas or concerns with the committee where they arise.
Provide timely and consistent advice and support regarding operations and events.
Roles & Responsibilities
All committee roles for 2025–2026 are currently filled. However, we warmly welcome expressions of interest for non–office holding sub-committee positions. If you’d like to contribute to Gippsland Women in Business, please submit an enquiry via our website and a member of our team will be in touch.
